I have a misfire on cylindre #1 on an obd scan reader. I can't find the problem. I changed plug wires, rotor, plugs and still no fix. The problem occurs if I run it wide open for a bit then idle gets ruff and the problem goes away after I baby it for a week. Some people tell me its mechanical others electrical. Any help would be apreciated spring runs are coming and I will need all the ponies.

Check compression on that cylinder compare to another. May have a bent valve, bent valve guide or just build up on a valve and it is not allowing it to close all the way.

Could also be a loose rocker, or worn spring. Is there a slight knock at all. Take the valve cover off and run it watch the rockers and make sure they are working ok.
