89 dakota v6 swap to v8

I was wondering wat it would take to convert my 89 dakota sport to the 318 v8. i know they had the shelby dakotas as v8 at the time. So im wondering wat steps i would have to take to install it, such as engine mounts etc. i have the 318, its out of a 94 4x4, mines is 2 wheel drive. wat kind of tranny would i need?

Well it would bolt right in but you may have some clearance issues. And you will need ALL the wiring and computer from the v8 to make it run right. Go to www.dodgeforum.com they can help you out there.
