hey guys i have a 1998 2 wheel drive with stock rear i haul with it durin winter and bumper pull horse trailer from time to time.. since aint 4wd drive i was lookin at a locker for rear i was lookin at an aussie but they do not make one for the 9.25 axle i was wonderin if any one had any ideas? liked the aussie because would let tires turn without chirping tryin to see what all else out there that is worth money i have budget so any ideas currently overseas and thinkin of doin this as a project when get back.. thnks miller

What's your budget?
Have you looked into the LockRites? They are pretty much the same style as the Aussie.

well was only wantin to spend max 500 just been having hard time findin anything for the 9.25 rear and havent looked into the lockrites.. they still same with being locker and let wheels spin to turn then? and do u have to reset gears or it just like a lunchbox type to install?? i seen few things on jawsgear.com but i do not know enough about lockers and things to order one since they do not have any information about them on there...

The Locrite is a lunchbox locker just like the Aussie.
All true automatic (non-selectable) lockers will let the outside wheel differentiate in a turn. What you are thinking of is a spool.

do u know where i could find one for that axle?? so dont have to reset any gears or anything for it either?

Nope, no resetting the gears with it.
Have you tried 4Wheelparts?

take a look at summitracing.com, i found a powertrax lock-rite automatic locker for a shade over 400, and it only replace's your spider gears so you dont have to mess around with your gear settings.

well i have not personally run this locker but i did look at some reviews and didn't find any complants, people were praising it for its smooth operation. good luck
