I have a 97 v8 5.2 dodge dakota....It runs good...recently i took it mudding at a local spot called the pipes...the next day when i was driving to work i noticed it makes a wierd, really quick grinding noise when i gun it to take off...but once im driving it after taking off, the noise is gone(high-pitched grining noise)....could the first gear on my tranny be slipping....any advice would be helpful?
