A fine week of spring Alberta wheeling Has resulted in a purge of left ball joints and axle shafts on my dana44 front and then 3 days later the right hand axle shaft left this mortal world to join its counterpart.  My decision... NO MORE.  Dana 60 time.  SO I spent a few nights shopping around and found myself a late 80's-early 90's dodge 3/4 ton with no motor or transmission for the humble price of 300 bucks (Canadian) so my hopes soon are to become a reality.  My question for those of you that have gone through this scenario lend me your advice and experience.,  toss out a couple of tips,  point me in the right direction or what have you...  any weak spots.  point me to a good article or site.  THANKS..........

Crap!  Cancel that. I went to pick up the truck and it had a 8 bolt dana 44 front and a dana 60 rear.  THE SEARCH GOES ON...
