I have a 1979 K10 and its full time 4-wheel drive. It has low lock, low, neutral, high, and high lock. What is the difference between them and what is the best one to be driving in?

high is the best one to run it. the 203 has a mini differential in it. so when you are in lock it locks the diff. when you are not in lock it takes a big load off the t-case when you are turning. and to every one else it sounds like your trucks are spline locked. it happens a lot when you don't switch between the gear positions for a long time. you will prolly have to remove the t-case and disasemble the t-case to get it to unlock
