All done with the 88 yota vortec I 5 swap, used dual toyota cases. It drives nice, 18 MPG 220HP 220 TQ, A/C, Heat and smog legal.
KEEP IT SMOG LEGAL... IT MAY KEEP THE TRAILS OPEN!!!!
MAKE IT SMOG LEGAL!!!

Hey Fred, It's Cary from gotpropane.com Let me know if you ever want to try a kit on Clampy. Not sure if you're trying to pass smog or not. If so I don't have the carb certs. Love the magazine as always! Keep up the good work! Clampy inspired some of the ideas on my truck. Cary

thanks Cary, and everyone else for your advice and input. Clampy needs some motor mount work (I tore the custom ones we built when we swapped in the 2.7L tacoma motor apart) and then It'll be back on the trails. till then I've been learning to drive with 400 horespower in my Fun buggy.

I would love to see a 22R-E build up, and believe me you can make some serious power out of those little 4's. I used to own a civic that pulled out in the 350hp range with a 4 cylinder, it was pretty cool. It would be nice to see something just built up instead of thrown away and replaced with a big V8.

Thanks Fred- I'm glad you liked the R/C Version of YOUR truck..! It was a blast to build and its really been a Big HIT around the R/C crawling community.
