Hi,
I just got a 2007 nissan xterra, If i want to go play in the mud or climb a hill is it better for me to keep the traction control on or take it off??

Good question. I would try it both ways.

In mud I would say Off is going to be the hot ticket because its going to pull power and that's not what you want to happen.

For the hill though it might just help you. Does your X have a locker? I would try it both ways and see what happens.
