The ford will have plenty of damage in tight trails. The wait will bog it in the mud. But the diesel should pull it threw. I think the long wheel base may help if there are some rocks. trees beware. A bronco 2 would be great though. push the rear axle back to take the roll back out of play .

i think some sort of "unpopular" vechile should be use like a crew cab pickup (s10/colorado, nissan frontier) i think thats the pickup sorry if im wrong. i like a light duty wheeler/ camping rig so you have the go anywhere with out too much sacrafice on road.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!  Like my friend Chad who has turned a Ford Airo-Star into a Bronco Star. 0n 35's. Seems point less but this rig wheels well. Even being a extended van. Look  at his picss at   cadillacjeeper.com  photo's and in the forum link. This is very different but funtional. Also a guy in town have company called OVER-LAND VANS.   overlandvans.com

i think theres a company that does that kind of stuff to ford vans and makes them into camper/tow rigs so you can either wheel to a location and camp or tow a dedicated trail rig to a trail and have a "homebase" so to speak. there was another company that takes vechiles like the aerostars and makes them campers that can do liteduty wheeling. i thought that was kinda cool when i read it in one of the mags i subscibe to (either this one or four wheeler)
