87'Yota PU w/ excessive Reardiff Backlash

Hey guys,
Check this out. My beater/hunt rig has quite a few miles run thru it. I just installed a Reman.22RE with new clutch assembly and a couple other things. Dropped some major coin into it the last couple months and now it runs like a Champ.......except.
I now seem to have noticed some excessive rear diff. backlash due to High miles. I was wondering if I could adjust the backlash back into acceptable specs. and maybe get a few more miles til I save for a proper rebuild R&P kit. The front seems fine and I just replaced U-joints cuz I thought it was driveline ping when engaging gears. I now know its the Rear diff. pinging. Thanxx in advance.
