I want to switch over to a straight axle in the front. Does anybody have any suggestions of what running gears will fit. Has anyone ever done an axle swap on a dakota?

It will be like any other SAS, lots of fabrication. Just pick what you want and make it work.
You looking full width? 1 ton? Just something solid? What size tires are you planning? Engine?
