Alright, lift you are going to need 7-10" of lift with maybe some fender trimming to fit the 37"s, winch should be at least 9500lbs, rear axle ideally would be a 1 ton, but with some upgrades to your original yota rear you should be ok for a while, depending on your driving style and terrain, tires i would go with either some baja claws, or tsl's. locker in the rear for sure, up front ARB all the way. But you could go a long way depending on your budget, time, and skills, just don't go overboard, build your vehicle for what you want it to do, don't go nuts with products that you think you need just because they are new and cool looking, remember cool looking won't get you out of a 3 foot mud pit in the middle of a trail.

i think you should consider doing an sas, if your handy and already have the tools it can be done pretty cheap. a 14 bolt would be best strength wise. and get a military chevy d60 up front. if you can keep your eye peeled you can find some deals.

ok it is a solid axle in front because it is a 85. and ive seen other 4runners with a 5in susp lift and 2in body and fit 37's with no rubbing and he did no trimming. so maybe it would be best if i put 35's on. and i have a 8,000lb winch my dad said he would give me. so what all should i do to fit 35's on for a minimum.

that would probably be the best approach for ease of build and price, if you run a mild tire like 35/12.5 tsl's and more finess and less throttle your stock axles should survive for awhile. if you put a locker out back and a lower gear ratio you'll have a truck that can go places. what kind of terrain are you expecting to come across?

for a lift theres 4 in. susp. and 3 body clears 35's easy and leaves a little room for a bigger tire, or you could 3 inch body and hack fenders for a lower center of gravity and price, 4.10's for really mild to 4.88's anything in between should work, i believe your 4runner may already have 4.10's some came with them. and as i say with stock axle be carefull of the agressiveness of the tire, a 35 bogger will rip the gears apart. but 4runners are a pretty good 4x4 outta the box.
