ive been looking for some 35 inch retreads but cant find them does any one know were they are or how i can get some?

go check out treadwright.com they do off road tire retreads, the prices are good but for the larger tires theres generally a waiting period good luck and if you find anywhere else let me know. thanks

ive checked tread wright already and they olny make a 33inch tire. ive heard of a company called high tec retreading but am haveing a hard time getting contact info for them. thanks for the help though i'll keep pokeing around. keep me posted if you turn anything up. thanks

they must have discontinued the 35's, they used to have them. but i'll keep poking around. i tried looking at the high-tech.retreading.com but the link was busted, here's what i found if it helps

don't know about re-treads, don't think anyone wants em anymore. (arent they unsafe on the highway?) If you want tires on the cheap you might look into going to 37's then you could just get used hummer tires, they have 60-80% tread and boycee has em for under $100.

nothing wrong with retreads, atleast not from a good company. and with proper care. those chunks of tires on the highways are from blow outs not all retreads. but thats a good thought about the hummer tires but what rim size do they require?

they take a 16.5 wheel not sure about the width. while standard 16.5 wheels are undesirable cause they don't have a bead retaining ridge, you can have a set of hummer double bead locks re-centered for prices comparable to buying a standard set of 16 inch wheels... or at least you used-to-could.

Hummer tires are ok but i have personal experiance with them in iraq and through out my current military career and think they are junk. they dont clean at all and the two peice hummer rims a def. junk the two peice design causes the two halfs of the rim to seperate under stress instantly deflating the tire. i had to change several tires in the field so i have alot of experience with it. the bolts holding the rim together break ALOT!! and repairs require the wheel to be removed from the truck the broken bolts pounded out and replaced its a pain in the ass. however A.M. general has released a new rim with more bolts that is susposed to hold up better under stress but us army guys havent even gottin them so good luck finding a set.
