aFe Releases - Intercooler Tube for the Duramax LLY/LBZ

Corona, Ca…advanced FLOW engineering (aFe), an industry leader in performance intakes, filters, manifolds and exhaust systems is pleased to announce the release of their new intercooler tube upgrade for the 2004-07 GM Duramax with the V8-6.6L LLY/LBZ (td) motors part number 46-20049.

The intercooler tube is constructed out of huge, mandrel bent 3” 409 stainless steel and is powder-coated for maximum cooling efficiency. Two heavy-duty, 5-ply heavy duty reinforced couplings give this upgrade the much-needed strength to easily withstand high boost pressures and maintain reliability. All hardware including constant tension t-bolt clamps is supplied for an easy installation.

In recent testing, part number 46-20049 out-flowed the factory Intercooler tube by 67%and gave a stunning 16 max horsepower and 49 max foot pounds of torque increase at 1800 RPM which significantly lowered exhaust gas temperatures and increased MPG’s.

Part Number 46-20049 has an MSRP of $248.75 and is available in stores now.
