i want a good reliable rig for hunting ,camping , fishing, and some ocasional 4x4(not as extreme as the UA). also i dont want to go to extreme when doing this. 1. i have a 82 chevy (with only 28k miles on everything, there is no rust what soever anywhere in this, clean rig)reg cab, longbox, 10 bolt front and rear with i think 3.73 gears, 4barrel 350, th350 tranny, np205 transfer case, with also custom ac. 2. 85 sr5 4runner (less than 1ook miles), solid axel (8inch) with 4.10 gears, 5spd, 2.4liter 4cylinder,ac. so i want suggestions on what rig should i pick and what should i do to that rig. thank you please give me sugg. thanks

Well, im not sure where to start with this one. I guess for me it would depend on how worried you are about todays economy and fuel prices. The chevy is going to be worse on gas, but you can never go wrong with a clean, rust free 80's pickup. But on the other side of the fence, with the 4runner you have better fuel economy. Both vehicles should be pretty easy to find parts for, oem replacements and aftermarket. As for what to do with both rigs, that is up to personal taste and preference. A mild lift (6 inches should be plenty), a set of 35 inch tires, and some bolt on performance parts would be a good place to start. Hope this helps.
