I have a jeep cherokee. I can not remember the year. I would like to take those axles and put them onto my '96 dakota. Could I use ford coils and the plates that bolt to the frame. To hold the front axel. How expensive would this get for doing this job.

Next question is that I have a '91 dakota with a 318EFI. I would like to put that in to my '96 dakota to replace the 3.9 V-6. How big of a job would that be. And would I be looking at rewiring my truck to incorporate the 318.
