Hello.  I'm new to this site.  I am researching doing a 3"-4" lift on my 2005 Ford Explorer SPort Trac 2WD 4.0L V-6 truck.  I find it's difficult finding any after market parts for my truck.  I located a website that sells Truxxx 3" front torsion keys & rear add-a-leaf springs & suspension front and rear shocks for $350, which kit claims it will lift truck by 3".  I thought the price ain't bad considering some body lift kits are similar price and suspension lift kits start around $1k+.  Any way, if I lift truck by 3" what wheel and tire size combo does any one recommend?  The stock tires r pathetic and skinny.  I'd like to squeeze some 33s underneath if possible.  I'm really concerned about the new wheels rubbing suspension components or wheel wells.  I've heard if I go bigger on wheels I may need to select different offset on new wheels.  Any suggestions would greatly b appreciated.
Thanks!

I would contact the designer of the kit and ask what can remain stock and what will need to be changed. 33" may throw your gearing off.

He's a lot better off going to www.explorerforum.com than to TRS.

Your Sport Trac is the same in the front as the previous gen Explorer and Ranger Edge, so any lift for those will work with your truck. The rear is a little trickier, but is still the same as previous gen Explorers.
