Im a girl just beginning her senior year in highschool who will also be starting college after and going to night school for auto mechannics....now because of all this i will not be able to work much so i have a limited budget. SO my point of this is i want to find a older truck in the next few months to fix up on my own to make my mudder/everyday driver eventually...
so my question is what do you guys think would be a good truck to buy? Im looking at either a dodge 1500, chevy 1500, ford f150 or a tundra...im also not sure what year to go with either

Now i know this is gonna be expensive so i want a truck that would be reliable so once its fixed then i wont have to worry to much about it although i do know that trucks get messed up in mud..

either get a 2002 Chevy 1500 or a 1998 dodge 1500
If you arent rock crawling, your mudding,if your not mudding, then your trailriding,if your not trailriding, mudding,or rock crawling...then what are you doing!?

Hey well i know you situation and i whent through and am still going through it and personally im a fan of big domestic beasts but if like you said your gonna want to drive this thing around id honestly try to find a pre 1985 toyota with a 4 cylinder and a 5 speed. its no power hound or anything but they are reliable and cheap to drive around and pretty tough trucks. as well there are all sorts of aftermarket parts for them and lifts are fairly cheap. I think it would be a good choice wish i did it some days.. I curently drive a 89 F-250 and I love every minute in it =>
