I have an 05 Liberty Renegade and Im gettin ready to lift it. Im new to the world of 4wheelin and I've read alot of stuff about suspension lifts for my jeep. Is it true that if i lift more than 3 in the stock shafts will bind? Alot of lift kits dont come with new struts, springs, or shocks and instead only come with plates, bumpers and bushings. What are the advantages or dis-advatages of not getting the new shocks and struts?

Wait what?

"plates, bumper, and bushings"

What kind of kit are you referring too? Bodylift? You lost me on this one.

To lift it you'll need a kit that has springs, or spacers, or you won't get any lift.

The advantage to not changing shocks/springs is a stock like ride. The disadvantage is a stock like ride. Do you want it to be more capable off road, or still ride like a car on road?
