I want to do a solid axle swap in my 97 k-1500 and run 38"s of 40"s. It seems that a dana 60 from a 78-79 ford 350 is the best axle to use.  I like the idea of selectable lockers. Does anyone know if an eaton e-locker is available for this axle?  What isues could a later model axle with wider spring perches cause?  I am running 35"s now and considerd keeping the truck ifs but can't find a locker to fit, and I don't think the ifs will handle 38"s I've already detroyed one front diff. housing.  Anyone done one of these swaps and got any suggestions ?
