I bought a rebuilt tranny (TH350 with a transfer) that appears to have a NP203 attached. I have a NP203 in my 76 3/4 4x4 but there is two differences, 1.the speedo gear is on the pass. side instead of the drivers side and 2. the transfer has a flange connector for the front drive shaft instead of a yoke. the tailshaft is all alum. but the dimensions are the same. any clues as to what model it is? The truck it came out of is an 84 1/2 ton. When he put it in his truck he said he had to get another shaft made for his. No help from the knob diagram as it didn't come with a shifter. It does have both shift ears on the transfer like the one in my truck.

It sounds like a NP208. I have a 85 87 and use to have an 84 all blazers. That is what they have.

i just pulled a 203 full time t case and replaced with a 205 gear drive unit. the full time unit has no two wheel opt. the shifter will have five positions, low, low lock, neuteral, high, and high lock. a part time case will have only four positions, two of which will not engage the front output, neuteral and two wheel drive. only neuteral will not engage the front o.p. in a full time unit. if you have a full time case and plan to do much driving on the pavement, you should keep looking for a case. preferably an np205 but the chain drive 208 is good for medium duty wheelin.
