im looking at buying a cummins  .most likly the 5.9 .i want a 6sp manual! and the quad cab or what ever it is.short bed, 4x4.ect. but i wasnt sure.do they still have a solid axle in the front?and if so.what is it? D60 front?or is it ifs?or a differnt front axle?14 bolt rear end?i cant find to much on it.i look and find that yes it is there and no its not.so i wanted to know if an owner of one could help me out?

forgot to includ that im going to be getting a 2000-2006.i want an 2004.5 and up

Yes sir, they are still solid axle. Dana 60 front and AAM 10.5 or 11.5 rear (14bolt). Thankfully Dodge hasn't gone IFS, Chevy is the only manufacturer with IFS on their HD's.
