Possible IFS axle modification

I had just found this homemade center section for a geo tracker and was wondering if this could be done at home. The website is zuwharrie.com, under TECHNICAL, under IFS, under LONG TRAVEL IFS- IT CAN BE DONE. Sorry I can't figure out how to link the site on here. You see half way down the page that a guy had cut and mod. a Sami. diff to work as a center section for his tracker. Do you think this would be something that could work? I know this still doesn't solve all the ifs problems, but maybe this is something that could help with the few people out there that still want to see if they can get ifs to work. And, yes I know someone is going to say "why don't you just swap a solid axle under it". That alright and dandy, I just like seeing if there could be some new "garage built tech" on the hoizson.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. The only real issue I see is the high angle of the CV joints. If they can handle the angle and the torque then there is no reason an IFS suspension won't hold together.

yeah, i figured there would still be a problem with the cv joints, but with this being what final killed project "RED SLED", its seem like it could work. i also heard of a hummer club in quebec, canada trying something like this on a h3.
