I have a 94 GMC jimmy that i am planning on doing a straight axle conversion with full size gm axles under the front and rear. Which springs would be better with better fitment, the springs from the donor vehicle, or would a set of jeep cherokee/grandcherokee/wagoneer rear leafs up front and back be better? i am also doing a 350 conversion with a TH350 trans and NP 205 transfer. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

That's a good question. I would not use rear leaf springs on the front. What you could do is get a set of springs off something with leaf springs front, like say a YJ, and use those. Just need to be sure they can support the weight of the Jimmy.
