The stock front axle should be a 10 bolt and the only difference between the 1/2 ton 10 bolt and 3/4 ton 10 bolt is the the rotor assebly and brake caliper, all the rest is the same. You can put the 3/4t 8 lug rotor on the spindle of the 1/2t and the 3/4 caliper has a slightly larger piston and will bolt onto the 1/2 ton. For the rear, the 10.5 14 bolt FF was used in the 70's and 80's and up used either the 10.5 14 bolt FF or the 9.5 14 bolt semi-floater depending on vehical weight rating (later 80's and up light duty 3/4t use the 9.5 in a 6 lug version). The 10.5 14 bolt FF was also used on 1 ton with narrower spring perch center to center, but as long as you get one from a 3/4 ton it will bolt right onto the 1/2t. A simple way to check you gear ratio now is to mark a tire and mark the drive shaft and drive or roll the truck one tire revolution and count the number of turns on the drive shaft (the front axle originally had a metal tag on one of the bolts with the number of teeth of pinion and ring gear stamped on it).

And you can usually find them in good shape because im tryin to convert my truck from 1/2 ton to 3/4 ton as well. lemme know if you have any luck.
