4.3 vortec intake question

i recently bough a 93 s-10 blazer,when i bought it there was a ton of gas in the oil,i did some investigating and found that the previous owner had fuel problem.that is why the gas was in the crank case,i changed the oil a couple times and the motor sounded great at first, now after i have put miles on it the motor is starting to make noise on the intial take off and a little after,when i bought the thing a got another  blazer '92 for parts that has a strong motor in it,but it is a 4.3 tpi not cpi like mine.my question is this can i swap the motor and just put the cpi intake onto the tpi block?from the outside they look the same but i want to assume they are the same inside as well.any help would be greatlly appreciated.
