I am looking for extreme trails anywhere in the south east!  By extreme I mean a trail that takes several days to conquer and one that frightens most weekend warriors - one that you would never travel alone!  What do you think?

Check out our Events Page and then Ultimate Adventure. I believe we have 2004 on the site from when we were down there. Could be some good stuff for ya.

Hi rovergirl,

I'm stu454 on most Rover forums; thanks for waving the LR flag here

Beasley Knob in N. GA has some gnarly stuff; Uwharrie in central NC is good as well.  The Old North State LR club will have their 8th annual Uwharrie Rover Expedition the weekend before Halloween (10/23-25, IIRC).  They are a good group and this will be my third year in a row.
