how to crank torsion bars on a 98 s10

i have a 98 s10 with a 5 inch lift and i wanted to know how to crank the torsion bars for a higher lift

i have the anwser DONT DO IT. if you turn up the torsion bars it will but stress on your ball joints an wear them out really fast. one of my buddies had a Z71 and he turned his up 2 months later he had to replace his.

The literal answer is to tighten the bolt that goes through the adjuster at the frame side of the torsion bar.

wow o4 yota is an idiot hid buddys ball joints were bad to startidoesnt reall stress the ball joints any more but if you have a s10 with mor than 80 k on it it probably needs ball joints fix them before they break it will cost alot more if they do break

theres adjusting t bars and cranking t bars all modification require a modification if you dont want to replace parts than buy a stock truck and park it in the garage
