I need to get some new treads soon. I drive mostly asphault with some dirt thrown in to haul my ATVs to the trail head. I do like driving in the snow here in central PA. I'd like to know what is the best tire size for my truck. It's a 97 K1500 Z71 with a 350. I hope to put a 3" body lift on it with no other lift. The wheels are stock 5 spoke with the plate over the lug nuts. I currently have 265/75/16 on now. would prefer to run 33"-35".
The tires I'm looking at are the TrXus STS, TrXus M/T, Goodyear DuraTrac and some others. I would like the tires to be under $250.00 a piece.

Thank you.

I would go for a 35 if you can fit it, and either of the TrXus you listed will be a good tire, or even a BFG AT or Nitto Terra Grappler or Trail Grappler. Those would all suit you well.

Without beefing up the front axleshafts, I'd stay under 35's, especially if you have a heavy right foot.  For asphalt and snow (especially wet, icy conditions), I'd go with a slightly wider wheel than stock and throw on a set of 305/70R16 BFG AT KO's.
