1/2 Ton Chevy LockRite Lockers

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with a small problem. Installed some lockrite lockers in a chevy 1/2 ton rear end, there is a very loud poping noise in the rear end, it sounds like something is catching and popping loose, it does it while going down the road, but it gets real bad when you lock it in and try to climb something. Was wondering if it was something I need to worry about, cause I would hate to go out riding tonight and mess something up.

Well, I figured out what was wrong. Got out there messing around with it tonight and the small springs inside the locker was wore out, so it was trying to catch, but kept popping loose. We just took the locker out and welded the rear end. Now we aren't gonna have any problems.
