What kind of lift?

I have a 93 Rodeo that i just bought...its 100% stock. I'm looking at putting a lift on it but I don't know what kind. Im new to offroading...only ever had street cars to upgrade. Im not looking at rock crawling...or goinng up any rediculously steep grade...just wanna be able to go out on some trails or go muddin. But lookin at the truck i think that it would look better if it had a few inch lift on it. SHould i do a body lift or a suspension lift? Budget also is a slight factor.
