I have a 1978 F150 that has six inches of lift and 40 inch TSL's. My problem exists due to the superlift lift used drop brackets for my radius arms. I have 40 acres i have a wicked creek/gulley trail built on. I can make it through the majority of the obstacles without flipping over or getting stuck but this one broken levy i climb either bounces me when the radius arms bind or stops me when the drop brackets and radius arms high center. What i need is to go with another type of setup all together. Price isnt a huge problem and i own a fabrication shop so there isnt anything im not willing to do. But i"d like to maintain the front hieght and not get to complicated. any help is appreciated

Solid axle swap. Without doing that you're not going to get away from the radius arm drop brackets.

Ummm... say what??? Since when is a solid axle swap needed on a 1978 Ford F-150???? It already HAS a solid axle!

Assuming you've already put 7° axle bushings in and are running the shortest drop brackets possible, I would check out the Cage Offroad extended radius arms, which are offset higher to get them up out of the way more. Maybe these are what you need. You'll get a bunch more flex with them too, as the shorter stock arms limit you quite a bit.
