hi yall, ok, this is going to be a long post. sorry in advance.

heres the deal. i just bought this truck a week ago, its a 92 k1500. it has a 6 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift running 38.5x15 ground hawgs. when i drove it home when i bought it, all was fine. after playing in the yard on a pile of gravel, i bent a tie rod end on the passenger side. replaced that, and then the truck would start shaking at about 20mph. i got the truck on jack stands, put it in 4wheel and let the tires turn. noticed that the passenger side tire was loping up and down, and so was the suspension. i pulled the cv halfshaft and the wheel hub fell apart, replaced both of those. after that, the truck would shake a bit between 30 and 50, but after at all other speeds it was smooth as could be. last night it started shaking really badly again, so today i put the front end in the air. i noticed that the drag link nut was loose, and the cv halfshaft nut was loose on the driver's side. while that nut was loose for the cv, i could push on the top of the tire and it would move like the bearing was out, but after i tightened the nut the tire didn't move when pushing from the top or bottom. well, the truck is still shaking really badly at 35mph, to the point that i can't go any faster. the shake does seem to go away when i press on the brakes. i also noticed that the driver's side tire has some play in it when pushing the tire on its sides (like it would be steering) while the front end is in the air. but as soon as i steer from the pass. side tire the driver's side tire moves with it. there is a good bit of play when steering from the driver's side tire though.

what do you think is causing this shake? the truck is supposed to be my daily driver, but i gotta take my mom's car tomorrow cause the truck can't get down the road. thanks in advance for the help

sounds like worn out parts. If the passenger side was that bad, you should replace the drivers side. I would check all the front end components and get a front end alingment. A little here and there add up to alot at the end.

What he said. Sounds like you have the perfect storm brewing. Everything is wearing out and is ready for replacement.

Also be sure to check your tire/wheel balance.
