33 10.5 or 285 75 16 on stock offset rims, you can fit a 34 12.5 on the truck by triming the valance under the front bumper and running a rim with the same offset as a stock 80's 1/2 ton rim, I beleive that is a 2.5" back set but I may be mistaken, a frend is running 34 12.5 15's on stock 1983 15x10 steel ralley wheels on his '02 with no lift and after triming the plastic he had no rubbing issues.

You sure about the 285/75? They may be a little too wide for the stock backspacing with no rubbing. Could be wrong though.

i have a 2000 gmc pickup with a 6in lift and i have 315 75 16 and i ran the stock rims for about a month and the upper control arm started to rub i know that a 4.5in backspacing is what corrected it and a 305 would cause problems if you ran it on stock you would have to do some major trimming

my buddy's running 305 dick cepek m/c's on stock rims, no lift. I was surprised there was no rub. unless the offset put the rim away from the brake calipers, I don't think you can run a 15"rim on a 99' up. Some older (1995?) factory 16" rims won't clear the calipers. (found out the hard way, was using one as spare.)
