r mazda's n ford ranger suspension interchangable and how much lift is needed for 33's on a b3000

I'm not quite sure as to how tall of a lift you would want, but as far as the Ranger/B-Series suspension being the same I'm almost certain they are.

i believe its the same thing as well. in fact, a buddy of mine has a ranger with a mazda tranny in it, wich is stronger than fords vesion, so you shouldnt have any problems

How did you dig up a 4 1/2 year old thread?
And yes, after '98 the Fords and Mazda's were the same mechanically.
And yes, the Mazda transmission is better, but after '98 I believe it was Ford started using the R1HD 5-speed transmission built by Mazda exclusively in the Ranger. So it's nothing special to have a Mazda built trans in a Ranger. That is just manuals however, the autos (5R55E, 4R55E, and 4R44E) were all built by Ford, Ranger or B-Series.
