Ford 300 EFI in a jeep

This being my first complete ground up Jeep I have questions. What I have is an assortment of parts and vehicles. I would like to figure out what ya'll suggest I should do.
1. 1979 Cj-7 with a 258 and 4speed. 2. 1989 2wd F-150 with a 300EFI. Runs and drives great but body is tore up. 3. 1979 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 no motor, Muncie 4spd and np208 and 10bolt front and rear. Body not worth the work required to fix. 4. 1978 Ford Dana 60 rear end (open) and Dana 44 front end (open). No idea on gears. 5. Front and rear axles out of a 96' Dodge 1/2 ton and np231. 6. Striped down 1978 Chevy 3/4 ton long bed frame. 7. 1996 5.9 Cummins and NV4500.
What I would like to see is a Jeep capable of being a daily driver but capable on moderate trails. I have about 6 months, all the physical and mechanical help and not allot of extra money. I also don't have allot of fab help. Wife told me to do something with what I have before I start DREAM project. In March I'm picking up 2 1989 Chevy suburban’s. 1 1/2 ton 4X4 with shot body and 1 3/4 ton 2wd with great body. At that time I will have 2 t350's, another np208, a Crate 350 with 30k, another 10bolt rear end and front end and a 14bolt rear end. I would like to put Cummins and 4500 in the 4x4 and swap bodies. A different use for Cummins and 4500 could be considered if it fits what I want to accomplish with Jeep project. I have a bunch of pieces to several puzzles. What do ya'll recommend as possible combinations?

WHAT WOULD THE POINT IN THIS BE A EFI 4.0 IS MORE POWERFULL ARE YOU LIKE ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PUT IT IN BECAUSE YOU HAVE IT BUT WHILE AT THE END OF THE DAY YOUD HAVE LESS MONEY AND TIME IF YOU JUST DID SOMETHING SILLY LIKE USE A GREAT JEEP MOTOR IN A JEEP MOST OFTEN WHEN DOING A MOTOR SWAP PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO GAIN SOMETHING LIKE MORE POWER LESS WEIGHT ECT IF YOU ARE GOING FOR LESS POWER MORE WEIGHT AND WORSE MILAGE THEN YOUVE GOT A GOOD IDEA

That’s exactly it. I have it. Last two Jeeps I did were 20 years ago. One I put an AMC 360 in and the other was a 302. I don’t know much about the 300, still learning about it. It’s in a truck my grandfather gave me that just gets used once a week for a dump run. I was just looking for some suggestions as to how to use what I’ve got now. It will be used by my 15 year old son for his first car. Don’t need lots of power. The little *** will kill himself. Just to get him down the road to his stuff and a little playing in the hills. That’s why I said capable. Now of course, if you could tell me how to work the Cummins in, he can have G’pas old ford. I have built up jeeps and trucks, just never from scratch. Always spent the money to get what I want. Also took the time to do it. Yes this is a rush project. My son gets his license in 7 months.

put the 300 in the jeep the only things you'll need is the ford transmission and transfer case from a 4x4 truck, look for the 4 speed granny gear transmission. that way you have low in the trans and then a 4 low, for some really good pulling power. the 300 has lots of low end torque which is great for slow wheeling. but the down fall to the 300 is fuel mileage not the greatest but it will get you down the road. I think the only fab work you will have to do would be to move the cross member either back or forward to bolt up the trans you will probably need to buy custom engine mounts or have some made. you will also need new drive shafts. you'll also need the computer and wireing harness for the fuel injection to work, you have a parts truck just take anything thats connected to the engine and you should be fine.
