Ok, so I installed the 4.10 gears from a four cylinder Jeep into my six cylinder Jeep.  What did I really install?  4.10's or 4.11's?  And, what is really the difference, besides the hundreth of an inch measurement?  I see tire charts that have 4.11's as the measurement and then gear-sets with 4.10 and no mention of 4.11 as an increment of gear selection.  What gives?

There is no difference. Like everything else it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

It's not a hundredth of an inch difference, it's a hundredth of a turn of the driveshaft. The gear ratio number measures the number of turns the driveshaft has to make to make one full rotation of the tire. The ring gear size of an axle stays the same no mater what the gear ratio is.
