The Pros and Cons will be the same as for any other vehicle.
Pros - Lets more air in thus making more power
Cons - Lets more dirt through too
That is basicly it. I would compare the various shootouts we have done here and pick the kit that best suits your needs.

Im about to buy a weapon R intake kit...( someone please let me know if that is a mistake on that brand ) but taking a look at the stock filter system there are so many random things that Nissan attaches to the air intake hose and box that when i install the new one these items defiantly aren't gonna be able to attach to the new intake system.......what do i do with these parts....just find the nearest safest place to bolt them down to somehow.....Im pretty handy and i know i can do this myself and i know im not paying someone to do something this simple.....but all these extra things.....where do i put/attach them???????????

What kind of stuff is attached to the stock intake tube?
