Starting a new project, 1972 K5 Blazer.  Want to use it as a tow rig for our jeep, but need to increase towing ability.  Rearend will be a Corp. 14 bolt with HD springs only 2-3 inch lift and probably airbags.  Would boxing the frame help or are there any weak spots I should be aware of?  Any help would be great. Trailer and jeep weigh close to 5K dry weight. Thanks

You're on the right track. The only big down side I see is the wheel base. Being short it's going to be unstable with a heavy load. But 5k should be fine.
