So i just picked up a sweet 79 Ram and i really wanna trick it out as a climbing rig, i'm just entering the 4x4 world so i don't really know all the mods you usually do to a rig to make it climb ready, oh yeah, and the cheapest ways too :P

I'm not sure what axles you got. But thats usually the first thing. Upgrade the axles. Do a lift. Get rid of stock bumpers. Build some HD ones. Get a winch. Tons of options. Go to your local junkyard or www.craigslist.org
