im doing an soa conversion on a 66 scout i gonna weld 2 more brackets on and kind of angle the whole thing ive heard of grinding something to make the geometry line up with the steering but im not sure what needs to be grinded and if u do grind do u not need  to modify the pitman arm any more also the cv joints on the drive shaft could u use some out of an old fwd car im jumpin into this head first and im new to it so any help would be appreciated thanks

Umm... not sure why you would grind anything.

And no, CV's from a FWD car are totally different than what are on your driveshaft.
