i heard a rumor that you can lift a rig by putting the leaf spring on top of the axle as opposed to undermeath, is this fast or fiction?

this is fact. its called a spring over conversion. it does require other issues to be addressed. and this style of lift is more prone to axle warp. there is a how to some where on how to do it the proper way. im sure it you google spring over lift, you will get something good. good luck.

depends on what your trying to lift , since this thread is in the Dodge section I'm guessing its for a Dodge . Most full size 4x4 Dodge trucks come with the leaf spring over the axle already , if so check into a shackle flip , ORD sells a kit or take some measurements and make your own .
