Some of you may think its crazy but I want an auto tranny behind my 83 cj 7 258 ci with dana 300 transfer case what is easiest cheapest strongest best of all worlds without spending a bunch of money on adapters. also a small block chevy swap is something that I may do one day so a tranny that could be used in the future may also be an option. what is required for a th 400 swap I have seen transfer case adapters for about $500 what else is involved.I have seen a couple of 727's for a couple hundred bucks any suggestions. I have 4.10 gears and 33 in tires 35 are in my future this is also my daily driver and I wheel mud and mild trails mostly.
