i have a 2000 gmc sierra z71 and i just recently bought a 14 bolt semi floater (9.5 6 lug) and i need some info on what all i will need to do to make it work it came out of a 1994 k1500. i would also like to know if there is a way to keep my factory rear disc breaks and adapt them to my 14 bolt?

You'll need the correct u-joint, and possibly new spring perches welded on. Besides that it should bolt right in.

As for the brakes your stock ones probably won't work, but if you search the net there are tons of 14 bolt disk brake conversion kits that will.
