I'd like to see a section devoted to teaching some of the 'it looks so easy when he does it' skills that are required to build your average 4X. I know how to work a wrench and I can work a hammer ok but when it comes to something that takes some skill, like welding, I don't have much of a clue where to start. I've got a little Lincoln MIG (converted it to use gas cuz that only took wrenches) that I just can't seem to get proficient with. Another topic could be engine timing and/or how to set your timing and carb to work harmoniously. Things like these that your local guru would know how to do, but that your average beginner might just be ignorant about would make for an excellent little recurring section, i think. Think back to the days when you were starting--what's something that you wish someone had told you about earlier--maybe something you had to find out the hard way.
