I've looked everywhere for a set for my 88 burb, no one makes a heavy duty rock rail. Smittybilt makes a nerf step but the mounting uses the rear leafsring front bolt. not the best for rock crawling. What I did is I modified the rear mount to go directly to the frame by welding in a extension to the frame and then welding it solid to the frame rail. I also added some more support by welding tabs from the step rail to the body. If you have a welder and a way to bend tubing you can custom build a set. look at the design of some of the rock sliders they make for jeeps and just modify the design for the burb. Mounting is going to be to the frame.
