engine swap.

not too long ago they did a build on an 07 wrangler 4dr and they dropped in with some fabrication a cummings 5.9L. I have an 08 4dr and was looking to swap the engine, but I was looking to go bigger to a 6.6L duramax but I want to know is the 402 cubic inches going to be too hard to fit? and would it be worth it in the long run because really it seems like I would be able to pull a lot of the same power and torque numbers from the 5.9L as to the 6.6L without having to deal with the weight. this is the start of a very big build for me and I am no mechanic but this is a passion and my dream ride.

I think that u answered your own question there. If you can get the same performance outta the smaller, lighter engine why would you choose the larger one? Im not a pro fabber by far but remember Lite is Might! and Simpler is Better! Just my 2 cents
