I'm new to the Forum but not new to 4 wheeling. I have a question for those who have done this swap. I'm swapping a 460 into a 1993-1996 Bronco and was wondering is there any year that is preferable to others with regard to the 460 and strength? I know they all are about the same but are the police specials different. Should i look for a 429 instead because of the torque range? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Also, i plan to keep the C-6 tranny with a rebuild for the truck. Any thoughts? Don't really want to go with a manual because i think the auto pulls better in the mud. Finally, is it worth swapping out the front and rear with Dana 60s out of an f250 late model with discs?? Thanks!

The bronco fullsize is built off the F-series trucks, some your in luck there. i would definately get those 60's, im assuming you still have the stock, 44 and 8.8? which wont hold up to the power of a big block or the stress big tires add.
and take a look a www.broncograveyard.com its a great site even if you just want to window shop. and they sell kits for bronco 460 swaps.
