I have a 1993 Ford F-250 7.3 idi 2WD, and I'm converting it to a 4WD. i have a Dana 50 ifs, and most everything to put it together, but i don't know how the leaf springs will mount to the frame. I've heard i need hangers and shackles on both sides of the axle, and I've heard that i need a hanger for the back and just the frame mounted shackle for the front. So I'm stuck and can't figure ut which one is right. Any suggestions? Any advice is better than what i have.

You need a fixed hanger for the rear of the spring, and the shackle hanger goes up front (that's how it is factory on the 4WD anyway).
I'd be tempted to mount the fixed hanger up front though (shackle in the rear). It certainly rides and handles better that way with solid beam axles, I'd bet it's the same with the TTB IFS too (or even better, fab up some radius arms for it and spring it on coils).

Ok thank you very much. I just want it to operate properly. And whatever way I can accomplish that I'll be happy. Thank you for the advice.
