Can I switch to a mid 50's body if i currently have a 83 k10

I have a 1983 chevy k10 4x4 1/2ton pick up swb.
Ive been trying to find out if there is a way to just switch to a 54 or so body and keep everything but the k10 body. So new cab bed and front end. I'm sure ill need a new radiator since the older models are smaller and probably different cab mounts but I'm wondering what it will take if at all possible.It will all be professionally installed I'm just trying to see what I'm getting into before i go to an auto body shop.
